Karen Smiley

Karen Smiley, R.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., M.S., APRN-BC, CEN is an advanced practice family nurse practitioner and forensic toxicologist. She is licensed as a nurse practitioner in Michigan and Florida. She received her Master of Science in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida and her Master of Nursing from Oakland University. Since she has a clinical and forensic focus in building related disease such as mold contamination issues, she has maintained for a number of years a residential builder’s license in the State of Michigan. She has also served as an instructor of pharmacology and clinical nursing. She has served as an expert in forensic toxicology as it relates to medication and drug toxicology as well in clinical nursing.
